About me
I am an EMBO Postdoctoral Fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Fei Chen at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, and an Associate in the Department of Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology at Harvard.
I completed my PhD at the Wellcome Sanger Institute and the University of Cambridge. My PhD studies were supervised by Prof. Thierry Voet, Prof. Oliver Billker, and Dr. Mara Lawniczak, and largely focussed on applying scRNA-seq to malaria parasites to gain novel insights into gene function, gene evolution, and gametocytogenesis.
I am interested in developing spatially-resolved multiomic single-cell technologies. Eventually, I hope to apply these technologies to normal development, as well as disease states such as Alzheimer’s disease and cancer. In the future, I hope to translate these findings into novel therapeutic interventions and diagnostics for patients.
